Contact and project inquiries
When you use the contact form or email us, we may receive your name, email address, selected service, business information, message, submission time, and an internal inquiry identifier. Please include only information reasonably necessary to discuss the project.
Site-assistant conversations
When you use the OFFSET Site Assistant, your question and the preceding messages visible in that chat session are transmitted to the assistant service so it can respond. The website keeps the visible conversation in the current page’s memory; it does not intentionally place the conversation in local storage. Hosting and AI providers may process technical logs or request data under their own agreements and policies.
Technical information
Website and infrastructure providers may automatically process IP address, browser and device information, request time, requested page, diagnostic events, and security logs needed to deliver and protect the service. Google Analytics may collect page views, approximate location, device, and interaction information according to Google’s controls; we do not intentionally send form content or directly identifying inquiry details to Analytics.
Browser storage
The website uses one essential sessionStorage value named offsetLoaderSeen so the opening animation appears only once during a browser session. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking and normally disappears when the browser session ends.
Why we use information
We use information to answer inquiries; understand a possible project; prepare a proposal when requested; provide and improve website features; respond through the assistant; maintain security; prevent abuse; keep necessary business records; and comply with legal obligations.
Depending on the context and applicable law, processing is based on your request or consent, steps toward a possible contract, OFFSET’s legitimate interest in operating a secure and responsive studio website, or a legal obligation. We do not use contact or assistant submissions for solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Retention and security
Project inquiries are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, assess or manage a potential relationship, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. If an inquiry becomes a client project, relevant information may be retained under the project agreement and applicable accounting or legal requirements.
Assistant conversation state held by the website is cleared when the page is refreshed or closed. Third-party providers determine retention of infrastructure and API records under their applicable terms.
We use reasonable organizational and technical safeguards appropriate to the website. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so visitors should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold information about you and request access, correction, deletion, objection or restriction, withdrawal of consent, or a portable copy where relevant. We may need enough information to verify your identity and locate the relevant record. Some information may be retained where law or a valid legal claim requires it.
